The selection of site drives us to look at the project in terms of a variation of scale, Macro and Micro and various points in between...

Scales of Evolution:

Global _ What is the overall issue that the creature is going to attack? What behaviors and skill sets will it use to perform at an optimal level and conquer the landscape?

Habitat _ The mastering of the terrain lets the creature concentrate on more specific issues, i.e., the nodes that were created as the creature settled in on he global landscape. It now has to figure out how to get these different appendages to communicate with each other, share with each other and remember each other.

Domesticated _ The nodes now talk, but they are unorganized. The domesticated pets that are used to connected the nodes are lacking the apparatus needed to be efficient. How do we train these pets?

Subspecies _ Adaption...the pets are now approaching the sophistication of their master creature. The intricacy of their actions create a network of associated behavior that borders on mind reading. This level of prediction allows for an efficiency that was never imagined by the creature. Thus, the creature is now free to leave the its pets behind and search out the next feeding ground.
