this movie is originally my slide show of the ping-up on 9/20 (Version_2) i have no idea why it plays evey 4 seconds and really looks like a slide show. (i made smooth transition between each slide.)

Host Condition

The satellite images show the chlorophyll, organic salt and the ocean surface temperature distribution in winter and summer. I locate some hosts by discover the overlapping part on google, which has the potentional to develope my project. The first is Tianjin, China. The second is Shanghai, China. The last one is Detroit, USA.
The reasons why i choose these 3 hosts are 3 : the first reason is satellite images reveal no matter winter or summer, they all have huge amount of chlorophyll and organic salt. The second reason is the Tianjin and Detroit are both industrial city and Shanghai is the super metropolis. The Third reason is both Tianjin and Shanghai are the city which near estuary, the end of the big river. Detroit is near the big lake, which is the billabong. These reasons provide plenty more of ingredients, like organic salt and also the source of pollution, which need to be consume.

Environment:
The environment is the host condition, I didin't set any specific site yet. In steat of that, I try to develope the general condition of the host.
I develope the environment condition in GC first.
I set 2 variables. One is the Sin curve, the other is Cos.
I try to use these two curve to present the condition of ocean wave by setting 2 dimension curves. By changing these variables, the surface can reaveal different condition of ocean surface.
Next step: add another dimension of varialble and apply the performance of agents.

I want to focus on the 3 points: Environment, Performance and Geometry.
Now i'm thinking about the performance.
Performance:
The behavior of the alage's aggregation is enchanting because there behavior like that based some certain factors.
Processing:
This is a java-based software. It can excute the java script to a openGL. This java is an open source demo. The script defines the relationships and draging forces between the colors. After click "r", it automatically assigns different colors to the cubes and reveal the dynamic behaviors.
The cubes may only be set up in 2 or 3 modes and behaviors but they can perform like a small society, highly spontaneous and radom but well organized.
